encore 4.0 XP text insert problem

: When choosing a text block in Encore 4.0 when running under XP, an error message is generated:
: General Protection Fault in module ENCORE.EXE at 0009:884D
: and the program is closed down.
: I don't know how to add and change text in my old encore music files, because of this. I would be glad with any help.

Why doesn't my Encore work in Win2000, WinXP, or MacOSX?
If you're getting an error message when trying to run Encore on your computer, it is because the older version of Encore is not compatible with newer operating systems, such as Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Mac OS X.
