Cubase VST synced to ADAT problem

I have Cubase VST 4.0 running in my studio, I recently added a JLCooper DATAMaster to sync my Alesis ADAT. I set it up so that I can control my ADAT from the Transport bar from my Cubase. I used the MMC(midi machine control) set up and it works (play,rew,ff,arm tracks,rec), but the problem is that my cue bar on Cubase doesn't run(follow the song) when my ADAT is running synced, so I can't play sequences nor audio from my cubase.
Where is that setting I'm missing?

Got any tips?

Looks like you need to also run SMPTE as well... This should sync the tempo on cubase with the ADAT.. MMC is usually for controlling buttons and switches (loosely speaking).
