I only know a few of the lyrics, but it goes like this:
My grandma and your grandma sitting by the fire
My grandma said to your grandma "I'm going to set your flag on fire"
Talk about hey now hey now ( and I don't know the rest) let me know if you have a clue. Thanks lb

It was written, originally, by the dixie cups in the 60's and it's called "Iko Iko" but the Belle Stars covered it again in the 80's.

The song is called "Iko Iko" and was a hit for the Dixie Cups in the 1960's. It was also featured in the movie "Satisfaction" about a girl rock band, of which one of the members was played by Julia Roberts. (The song was sung by the band in the movie on a road trip.)

Actually the song I believe you are looking for is by a band called The Belle Stars and the name of the song is "Iko Iko" or sometimes spelled "Aiko Aiko". There are a lot of veriations on the lyrics and alot of different bands have covered the song and changed the lyrics, but this sounds like the version you are looking for.

Actually it's "Counting FLowers",, the song title is "Flowers on the wall"... the song was written by Lew Dewitt, one of the original members of the Statler Brothers,,I was having trouble getting the song out of my head, and I ended up here,,,(I kept thinking it was "watching" as well, Yeah, I know, this isn't timely...
