First decide what kind of singer you want to be. Do you write music? Can you play any instruments? There are so many venues related to being a singer and a lot of them people overlook or want to be on top right away without having to go thru the paying the dues part.

If you're serious about wanting to become a singer I suggest you start with your local area. That's a good place to start as any - especially when you have no idea on where to start. You are probably missing a whole lot of opportunities in your own area and don't even know about it! You're also going to have to be serious about realizing a few things like #1 you are underaged and any contracts that are signed are going to have to be signed by a parent. You should also acquaint yourself with copyrights!

Again if you're really serious about wanting to be a singer then you're going to have to treat it seriously!

Hey, like the other person I have also wanted to become a singer my entire life. I know the circumstances to it and that it is a great deal of work but when you have a dream like mine you would do anything to accomplish it and that is just would I would do.Also, I have taken singing lessons off and on throughout my life, dance classes, chorus programs, and so many others to build my way to be a better singer or performer.The down side to all my hard work is that from there I don't know where to go or start at. Sure im underaged too but that doesn't mean I dont have as much talent or even more than anyone else.Please give me some advice on what I should do on starting a career in singing. Thank you

You are making it much more complicated than it is. The words come from within you and once you start the whole process will start to flow. I once turned some of my own poetry into songs and copyrighted the whole thing officially in Washington.

I know that you are capable of writing a song. You are probably just feeling too stressed and too frustrated. There are some simple steps and exercises that you can do to help you on your songwriting path. In fact to get more out of doing these steps and exercises you should make them as fun as possible - You'll be able to get more done if you make the process fun.

If you want to be a songwriter you are going to have to treat it seriously and start seriously working towards your goal. There are so many things that you can and should be doing right now if you truly want to be a songwriter. There are so many people who have taken the Internet and have used it to their advantage and a lot of them started with a lot less than you have to work with right now.

I never understood this whining about "I want to do this" and "I want to do that" but thats all that they do - whine!

You are missing out on a lot of opportunity and resources from using the Internet and the later you start the more ahead other people are ahead of you.

What are you doing right now to further your career? Haven't you seen other people who you think have less talent than you and are jealous and envious? Then you should do something about it and get started now!

well i wanna be a singer too but there's alot of ppl out there who has the same dream. we cnt all be in hollywood, its impossible i mean i want to be a singer more than anything and im 13! but its about luck these days not real talent. but still BELIEVE!

cubase vst v5.1 and win ME- crash and burn

trying to run vst under wi me p3 733 256 mb ram 64 mb video ati vivo echo miamidi.

i can record for approximately 75 sec. and cubase freezes. have done all steinberg fix's no back ground programs, dma enable, pci for video , no network
running etc. i'm wondering if more ram could help or is it somethng else. echo miamidi console setup but not active while using cubase.

Export your song to WAV from within FL. Then use <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Nero_win32/">Nero</a> to burn an audio CD.

I am a one man band using midi tracks to supplement a guitar/vocal. Am looking for different hardware/software setups for realistic backing tracks and mixing. Would love to have some advice from other musicians, especially that are already using. how to make back tracks sound full and complete.

Copy it onto your hard drive as a wav file and then use a burning program such as Nero to burn to CD.

Playing karaoke cdg discs on a computor

I cannot play CDG karoake disc's on my computor? Does anyone know how I can do this. I would also like to burn and make my own disc. Does anyone know what software I should use. I have tried Goldenhawke, but again my computor would read CDG format. Thanks for any help.

Hip Hop Ejay skips to end of song, and won't play??? Plz Help

I have hip hop ejay 4 & 5 and nothing has been wrong untill about 2 days ago. They are both doin the same thing, I even installed it again and it is still doing it. Here is what it is doing.
You know at the bottom where there is the buttons?
all the way to the begening, back one, play, forward one, forward to end???
Well both the BACK ONE, AND FORWARD ONE is hilighted, as if they are being pressed, as soon as it loads up it starts goin from 1,2,3 at the top all the way to the end of the beat. At first I thought it might be the keyboard or a key being stuck, so I unplugged it, still did it. It is just weired that HIP HOP Ejay 4 & 5 started this at the same time. If someone can PLEASE let me know if you think you know what it is I would REALLY APPRECIATE IT. Please e-mail me at tre2004@adelphia.net
