You can also use Real one player, by going to File and scanning for media, then it will collect all your song from kazaa. Then you can burn them by adding clips, just play with real player you soon will get the hang of it and its free. You have to have burner though.

It depends what format the music is in. Some formats are easier to convert than others. You'll find a load of format converters at <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/FORMAT_CONVERTERS/">http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/FORMAT_CONVERTERS/</a>

Let us know if you have any trouble, but give us more detail so we can give you more specific help.

Dixie Chicks Brisbane Concert

My 24 year old daughter Michelle is coming down from Darwin which is approx 3000 kilometres from Brisbane just for your coming concert on the 1st October 2003. I am sending this email in the hope that you may be able to arrange for her to meet the girls and/or maybe giving her a Dixie Chicks pack or something similar. I know that Michelle would be really thrilled if she could get a photo with the Dixie Chicks. Michelle has all the Dixie Chicks CDs and they are certainly her favourite. I hope this is possible and look forward to your reply.

As much as we'd like to, we are unable to do this for you as we're not affiliated or involved in that part of the music industry. You might want to contact the concert promoter and make a request, but just be aware that there will be hundreds of similar requests for meet and greets with The Dixie Chicks.

Logic 4.7 wont regognize ASIO driver

Hello,

I have logic 4.7 platinum and creamware pulsar 2 card running on a g4. In the logih hardware preferences I cannot select a driver for ASIO which is how creamware links to logic. I hit the control panel but nothing happens. The ceamware ASIO driver is installed in the logic folder under its own directory but to no avail. What am i doing wrong. So far have spent a week trying to work it out!

why my microphone distorts in sonar?

hi! i am using sound blaster live! 5.1 and sonar to record audio, but when i record vocals,using a mic of course,there`s the recordin does not come very clean! there`s this crackling sound and this like,"tremolo" or "vibration" i know it is not the sound card because i recorded in one of the recording programs that came with the card,and it records ok! so i suspect it is sonar.
also,when i listen to the demos and most every other sound that i did not recorded,they sound ok! all your help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Free Audio/MP3 Mixer/Editor

Does anyone know of a freeware program I can download to mix MP3's, I'm starting to dabble w/ music production and would like a program I can mix mp3's w/ sound effects or other mp3's? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

Changing tempo without pitch

I am learning how to play the saxaphone and use Playalong CD's as accompniant. Would anyone know of software which will allow the tempo to be altered without affecting pitch.

mixing

I have a large collection of mp3's which i will convert to .wav with poikosoft easy cd creator. what i am looking for is some simple software that will allow me to mix one track into the other (either before or after conversion) so that I can produce a cd that is one continuous track. Obviously the beat synchronisation is important here. I have acid and sound forge but they are a bit more complex than I am able to handle at present (i'm a novice).

There are a couple of easier to use programs from OTS
that you might want to check out.

Firstly there's <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/OtsCDScratch/">Ots CD Scratch</a> which is completely free,
easy to use, and may do all the things you need.

Then there's <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/OtsJuke_DJ/">OtsDJ</a> which is a more full featured
program, but still not too hard to learn.

Well, that's true and false. You can burn that many songs onto a CD but they probably won't play in your stereo unless you have a player that can play MP3 files.

Put simply, you will have to convert your songs to MP3 format and then burn them to a CD-R. That disc will probably only play in your CDROM on your PC.

Go to <a href="http://www.mp3machine.com">MP3Machine</a> for a variety of software which will turn your WAV files and CDs into MP3s.
