Avoid using sequencing programs like Hammerhead, Fruity Loops and Rebirth at all costs. Those programs are designed with Techno music in mind. IF you want to put down beatz like the pros, then you need to invest some hard-earned cash into a sampling drum machine like the AKAI MPC2000XL...everyone from Teddy Riley to Trick Daddy are putting down phatt beats with this machine. IF you can't afford one, then invest into a sequencing program like LOGIC Audio, Cubase (preferred by me) or Cakewalk, and then buy a cheap used sampler. This way you can sample your own drums off CDs & records and meld them (if you like) with sampled loops. This is the way the pros do it. If you want to sound like a pro, this is the only way.

you just gotta know what you are doing. I mean rap beats not techno. I know because i make rap beats with fruity loops

personally i would use acid pro 4.0 as your sequencer on the computer. you can then use samle disks that have drum sounds and synth sounds on them. you can also try to use the triton or any other board. i "line in" the triton and play into the acid software. i highly recommend acid due to its user friendliness. contact me if you have any other questions.

If you have a previous version of winamp, uninstall the version you have now, and then reinstall the older version... The newer versions
use up more resources... Have you tried another mp3 player such as sonique or others.. there are plenty of mp3 players out there... :)

Media Player wont play midi files

Windows 95 will no longer play midi files with the media player. I get the message "MMSYSTEM267 device driver not ready." Can anyone help?
I can play midi files with Cakewalk but would like to know why this is happening and how to correct it. Seems that the problem recently occurred after downloading AutoScore with Cakewalk Express. I can't be sure that the new program has caused the problem but it could be. I have since removed both AutoScore and Cakewalk Express. I have Cakewalk Home Studio installed now.

I am looking for a good Real Audio editor.. I need something to cut a large *.ra file into smaller bit so I can convert it to different *.wav or *.avi or Mepg files. Does anyone know a program that can do this?

Hi the Program u need to copy Karaoke CD+G is called Discjuggler.

This program only works on the following sytems:

Windows 2000
Windows 9X
Windows ME
Windows XP

I just picked up a slightly used Korg N364, but the factory program disk was blank. As per page 67 of the user manual there are 11 files missing. Could someone out there emailthem to me. Would be much appreciated.
