Does anyone have or know where to find any software that is compatible with the HP CD Writer Plus that would allow me to copy Sony Playstation Video Games. The software that came with my writer, Adaptec's Easy CD Creator, will not allow me to do it. NTI's CD Copy, copies Playstation Games but it isn't compatible with my HP CD-Writer Plus 7200 Series. Please E-mail me.

Is it possible to convert cda file in to wav file? Or can cda file convert straight in to mp3?

Yes, it is possible to convert cda file in to wav file with the help of a program called nexencode downlaodable at www.cnet.com

I do not uderstand alot of the language in the last post. I also want to convert tape to CD. Do I need to use the computer to record the tape to CD's or are the products you explained independant of a PC????

I have a room full of vintage audio equipment; reel-to-reels, phonograph record players, eight track and even a wire spool machine. They are all hooked to my CD recorder and I can copy from any of them to CD for you starting at $25 for up to 80 minutes of audio. Visit my web site at www.pensacolabay.com for details.

Seeking software that would allow transposing and changing the tempo of CD's as they play. Would appreciate any info regarding such.

You could try the Denon DN-600F CD player which
has an excellent pitch control feature. You
should easily be able to get a new one for
$300-400 or less. It achieves its pitch/tempo
function by internally varying the sample rate
before the D-A stage with very convincing
results. Good luck!!

I wanna make sure before start.
Is patch something like interface or soundcard?
If so, access to website such as computermusic.co.uk,
you then may download the stuff from there.
If not so, tell me what patch is exactly.
By the way, do you know any websites where
I can download free cubaseVST, but not for update?
I'm studing Music Technology in U.K.
My university supplies some computers in each department,
however the number of stuffs are not very enough for us.
We need to book the computer to use it. That's so useless.
I checked price of CubaseVST. It costed £600. That's bullshit.
I'm not affordable. That's why I need the software.
It doesn't matter whether it is old version or new version.
I need the software to spend more time on composition.
If you can do that, I will appreciate for you.

try going to http://www.blpc.bl.uk and click on search. Then enter in the subject field "cubase" and click submit search. should help.

by the way can you take optical cable for a minidisk and plug it into the usb ports on my pc? that is much better than what I want up there

I am looking for a freeware title that I could use to keep track of my extensive sheet music collection. I've seen a hypercard program but have not seen it since. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Try going to the magazine "PC Utiulities" web sight in the U.K.
They have several music catalog programs.
You may also try the "Unicorn Software" web sight. Most there is shareware, but you may like what they have.
Some of which are:
SoundZ, for most music; some of the others are CD Master, Album Master.
If you come across a program that will read, as well as catalog the songs on cd's, ler me know as it will take me forever to type out the contents of my over 1,400 Christmas recordings.
