Getting Cubasis audio to work with AWE64

Up until recently Cubasis Audio worked with my card
,AWE64 Gold. However since our computer crashed
and the AWE64 programmes had to be reinstalled
Cubasis Audio will not work it gives me the message
"Audio System not responding" it never use to do
this so how do I fix the problem. Please help!
PS. I think it might be something to do with the
wavesynth/WG as until recently it hadn't been inst
-alled.

I have been looking for that too, but they all are crap, Digital Ear was the best one that I've tried, but it converts only from one row. However, I'll post a Followup again, if I'll find one.

: it depends on what you want to do....
: you can either make a cd-rom of mp3s which is nice cuz you get 10-15 hrs of music per cd but you can only listen to it on your computer. or if you want to make an audio cd you'll have to decode the mp3s into wav files using a program like winamp, then make the audio cd.

I have been looking for a while for a PC application that will kick off WAV files in an arrangement similar to MIDI.
I've found a couple of MIDI sequencers, which only have one Audio track. There may be a good reason for this. Any help very welcome (please reply by email)

Try "making Waves" - v.cool program that lets you organize different wave files (1-shot / loops etc) and orchestrate them for playback.

EACH TRACK IN VST HAVE IT'S OWN TRACK Y DO YOU NEED ANY MORE OUT'S
I USES A GINA CARD NOW ITS EASY IN CAKEWALK

I use Master Tracks Pro and if I can help you I will what is your question. I have one to so here it is. How can I use sounds from my proteus sound module with master tracks Pro that have numbers greater than 128 cause Master tracks will only let me access to that number? If you can help me I would appreciate it. Please respond by my email which is taylor777@mindspring.com

When I was in school I used Master tracks pro and we too had a proteus all you have do is set up your user banks whee the keyboard setup menu is. Also if you want to use drums on any channel so you can add fx to one set and still have your drumms on channel 10 all you have to do is select channel 9 and or ll go to the program area or voice area and on your module select thru the list of sound s going backwords untill you come to your first instrument then go back one more and you now have drumms on two different channels, this will also work for your proteus again just backtrack your voices till youve been thru the list once than one more time it wont appear as a drumm pad it might say piano but it does work thats how I have been creating original worx for over 6 years. Now my question I have an ibm I have had the exe for Master Pro6 for 4 years on my pc I dont have the setup just the exe I have wiped my drive several times before and still been able to use the exe for mastertrx no problem now i wiped my drive and all of the sudden it wont work do you know where I can locate the setup file for it or even who makes Master tracks so I can contact themk some how I desperatley need thi9s and I tried for 3 days to find it even if its an older version buit noone has herd of mtpro6 but you do you know anyone who would be willing to part with a ripped copy I have tons of professional pros I would be willing to swap, everything from Cool edit pro full to Photoshop 6.0 anything you want but of course master tracvks pro which I cantr locate thankyou for you promptresponse jason

I use Master tracks Pro 6 on my PC.
(It was the first sequencing program I ever used on a 1040ST years ago - it seemed utterly miraculous to me then, and still does.)
I aslo use Cubasis from Steinberg.

Passport was bought by GVOX: www.gvox.com.
They still sell it and other Passport products and offer support.

Is there software availiable were I can use my dat backup drive as an Stereo dat player. This would be like the way we currently use CD-ROM. If not how about it just playing the music, and I'll use cooledit to record.

I'm attempting to find the same info. As close as I can get is a program called "direct access" this allows you to access your dat drive as a hard drive..and play audio directly from your Dat.
Use your search engine and type in dat "direct access" you will find the software there $58.. american..

With an IRIX based workstation it is definitely NO problem to play back an audio tape, whereas the audiodata is submitted on the SCSI bus. Therefore you have a software called "datman". So in general it should be no problem to do the same thing on a Windows based computer. Unfortunately I didn't find any software for that purpose until now. If you look at the HP webpages FAQ's they simply say it wouldn't work because the DAT player has no audio connectors (silly argument).

Trent, do you need to convert pc files to mac files? If so, then you need a wave to aiff converter. But if all you want to do is compress files to free up space on your computer, then you need a wav to mp3 converter.
You CAN burn wave files on CD. Either as audio or DATA. If you're burning archives to disc then burn them as data. But if you wanna play 'em in your car or home system, burn them as audio. But, point being, you can burn .wav files.
