IM looking for a way to play my karaoke cd's on my computer. The cd's are {.cda} based. I can load a mulitimediea player and play the music but I would also like to see the video. Looking for help in Louisville.

Is there a Win95 CD-player that "almost" takes out the vocal from a regular music CD? Like the karaoke function on an AIWA bom box?

Probably not. But basically these karaoke devices function by reducing the volume in the mid frequency range (the range of human voice). Therefore they cannot remove vocals completely and they also remove some of the music content in those frequencies.

A software mixer with a graphics equalizer can do the same thing, and maybe better. You can customize the frequencies reduced and the amount of reduction to suit the song (reduce higher frequencies for female vocal than for male, etc.).

To edit your wave files you have to do it on
cool edit 96 or sound forge, save your transformed
wave then import it in your cool edit pro and
you are reddy to go! thre is a icon of a wave
in the top left of your cool edit pro 1.1,
click on it and you are in multi track mode.

I have a pas spectrum 16 and so far in trying to contact the company I have found that:

THEY ARE OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!!!!

So I am looking for drivers elsewhere (windrivers.com) Sorry if that's a bit disturbing for you. MediaVision if entered as a general search may get you some kind links to others who are having the same problem.

file before, and I don't have a clue about how to use

If you have the wav file, you don't need to convert to cdda, the burner will do it. just when you burn, tell him to burn an audio file. not a wav file.

i have problems with cool edit pro 1.0
audio synchro problem
when i record a music from my home studio pro 64 soundcard' in a track and after i play/ record a second music in tempo , during the rcording process the mix is well synchro, but when i listen the mix is no synchro why : it is a software problem or soundcard problem ?
please help me....

I have been looking myself and found CDMaster32 at http://www.zittware.com/Products/CDMaster32/cdmaster32.html

The downloadable program is not good enough. It puts a 1 second gap every 15 seconds, but I have tested and it does work. $30

I've also found MP3CDMaker, but again you need the full version to be useful. You can burn 4 songs to a blank CD and none to a cd with anything on it. This program appears to be the better of the 2. $30
