does anybody know if their is a free vocoder been made by anybody as Im desperate to get one for cubase vst for the pc

The free vocoder I've run into is an offline filter that allows you to mix two .wav files to output a third, which should be compatible with whatever software you use (assuming it can input and output .wav files from and to specific positions in your recording).

See if the vocoder utility at http://www.analogx.com/ can't do what you need.

on this card makes to processing speed using plugins

Get the program Sound Forge, you can get the demo at www.download.com , not sure if this version has all the options. I'm still looking for the full verion.

Hey dude, I converted my mp3's to RA (real audio)
with SOUNDFORGE 4.0. JUST OPEN THE WAVE FILE AND
"save as"....Choose REalMedia (.rm,.ra) and
rename the file (?.rm) to (?.ra), klik save or OK
then you'll have options of merging left and right
channels.....and to listen with your own Realplaye....

I only ever found one program: Streambox Ripper. You can download a trial version from www.streambox.com.

The only way that I can think of is to use two PCs and have one bringing the RA in - take an audio line out to another PC which could record it.

Loop sequencing

I am looking for a program that will allow me to sequence a series of loops within one audio wave. I had a wave editor on the Amiga that allowed me to do this. However, I am now working with Windows. If you know where I might find such a program, PLEASE email me.

I tried the sound app, but i cant access the help section, which tells you how to convert mp3s. Everytime i try it it says it unexpectedly quiet- error type 1, what should i do?

It turns out our old friend "Sound App" has been updated to support mpeg formats, so just use it's Convert function.
