and download Total Recorder 2.2
Install the program, run it, and press the record button. Go to the url where the .ra or .ram is located and press on it to play it. Total Recorder 2.2 will now record the audio and you can save it as a .wav file.

There's an all around converter called WaveConvertPro, made by a company called Waves.
I use it a lot and it's very good. It has the option to convert .ra, .mp3 and .wav files but I confess I haven't used the .ra option yet.

There is a program you can download called <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Ra2Wav_Pentium/">Ra2Wav</a> which will convert .ra files to .wav files.
You can't convert .ram files because they do not contain any audio - they are <b>R</b>eal <b>A</b>udio <b>M</b>eta files and they contain instructions that tell your RealPlayer program where the RealMedia server and file are located so that you will hear the .ra file streaming.

The ra2wav is no longer available, is there any other way. Does anyone have the ra2wav for download....

I've had RA to WAV for about a year now. I downloaded it in the first place to see if it would do what I wanted it to do.. What I want to do is fairly simple. I want to convert STREAMING RA(the kind you cannot download) to WAV(or whatever..) Anyone know of a program that does this?.. if so, lemme know.. I don't wanna think that the only way to do this is with 2 computers line-out-to-line-in. If you know of a program that does this, please email me.

Dont know if your still looking for a program. I just seen these post, from ask jeeves.. Dont know how they poped up, but they did.... Well anyhow total record does what your asking to do.. will will even stop recording when it buffers and start when the song starts again... I've only used it a few times, but it has worked real good for me... get it at http://www.highcriteria.com/

I have some wave files and I would like to listen those files from audio CD. I've been looking for a software that converts *.wav to *.cda, but unfortunately I haven't. Does anyone know where I can find it? Or does anyone know the format of *.cda file? If I do know *.cda file format, I can write a program that converts *.wav to *.cda. I would be really appreciated if anyone can help me out.

I have some *.au files I want to use in a powerpoint presntation (version suports only *.wav files. Download music match jukebox
open and install it
click on the cd-r icon in the right hand corner and then list the files you want clicl on options and have it decode the files directly to disc

If the CDA file is contained on a CD...you can make it into an MP3 file...from there you can use an encoder to make it a WAV. Encoders can be found on www.MP3.com.

If you have a CD Burner then there should be software that came with it that will do the job for you. Have a look through the manual and disks that came with it.

problem with wav on disc
