Available features coming with this software include:
- Playback of standard MIDI (.mid), Microsoft RMID (.rmi) and Karaoke (.kar) files
- Will try to read even damaged files
- Drag & Drop supported
- Real-time display of notes, velocities and patches
- Unlimited number of playlists
- Quick access to all files in the playlist
- "Scan" and "Shuffle" functions
- "Play from first note" option
- Piano display
- User-configurable MIDI reset
- Muting and Soloing of individual MIDI channels
- Support for any MIDI device that has a Windows driver, including popular software synthesizers such as Yamaha's S-YXG50 and Roland's SoftCanvas
- Karaoke display
- Copy Karaoke lyrics to clipboard
- Display of information gathered from the music-files - e.g. copyright notices, additional hints provided by the author - usually a sequenzer would have been needed to see this "hidden" information adequately.
- Online-Help provided
Locked up!
I downloaded your midi player. Loved it but it locked up the computer after two songs. Any idea why? I'd love to use it but....

Your vanBasco's MIDI player sucks! It wont let me play MIDI's! When i downloads a MIDI, It wont let me play it! It sucks! Can u tell me how this thing works? To me, it wont let me play anything. Doesnt even give a demonstration song. GOD!

You got to load in a playlist first, dumbfuck.
Mine works perfect.

Hi, does someone out there know how i can edit/create Kar files and most importantly, play/edit ST3 files with VanBasco's player.
Otherwise i enjoy it very much!!!!

I like it very much! The interface is cool, it
does only take 1 meg of diskspace, loads fast,
plays all files, ... what could one expect
more?
