Software Description
Bome’s Midi Translator Classic is the smaller sister of Midi Translator Pro. It has the same powerful MIDI processing engine, but can only convert MIDI messages to other MIDI messages, or to keystrokes. Also, the rules and conditional MIDI translation are not available with the Classic Edition.
Midi Translator translates midi messages "on the fly". Sys-Ex messages are treated equally as "short" midi messages.
Several translation sets may be created for a quick change. The MIDI-TO-KEY feature allows to control arbitrary software by way of keyboard commands. For example, control Adobe Premiere with a USB/MIDI control surface.
The Classic Edition is only available for Windows and it will not evolve anymore. It is free for personal use (Postcardware).

Re: how do i convert midi files from 1 to 0
You can convert Midi-1 to Midi-0 easily with "remaker V1.31". It's very easy!! You can search it on the web, but if won't be able to find it you can write to me and I will send you it by E-mail.
I was wrong: correct name is Midi Converter 2.0
Excuse me I made a mistake: the name is Midi Converter 2.0. It surely converts to Midi-1. but I'm not sure about the Midi-source.

Re: Converting KawaiQ80>MID
Hello Adam,
I just found (after a long search) a link to a program that could fulfill your need.
Look at the website "http://midifile.com".
The firm "Giebler" (USA) has developed a MIDI converting program specially for the Q-80. The program's name is "Q80 Pkg". The problem is that it's not for free. Have you found already this program ?
Otherwise, I have a program to put your MIDI data on your hard disk and vice versa. The (DOS) program gives you an overview of the songs on the floppy disk and allows you to delete and copy (to HD and from HD) MIDI songs.
If you want this program, please write me at
mattydemont@hotmail.com.
