Magellan is an analog modeling synthesizer app for the iPad.

This app features two independent polyphonic synth engines that you can use individually or together to create impressive synth sounds with your iPad.

It comes with effects rack, six oscillators and dual filters for each engine. You also get multiple unison stages, extensive modulation matrix, dedicated arpeggiators, MIDI capabilities, and a polyphonic step-sequencer.

Each dedicated arpeggiator has 10 arp patterns that you can set depending on note value and gate. You also have 6 octaving modes which can be set up and have octave repeats. The dual LFO's per synth have 4 freely assignable destinations per LFO. You can adjust phase and delay and it allows frequency tracking.

Magellan also comes with an analog inspired 16/32 step polyphonic sequencer. It gives you 8 track poly output per pattern in 16-step, 4 track poly out in 32-step "link" mode. You can adjust pitch, velocity, gate and octave per step
. Other features of the sequencer include 6 sequence direction algorithms for each pattern
, Swing, Timeline for creating song length sequences w/ patterns and Import/Export of song files containing sequences.
