Software Description

Chinee Orchestra is a VSTi plugin that comes with 23 classical Chinese instruments for a complete Chinese Orchestra arrangement.

This virtual instrument plugin is powered by Kong Audio's QIN RV 2.0 engine, and it is designed to be the go-to software for your Chinese music needs. It is designed to stay true to traditional Chinese music, bearing the right classical instruments. The instruments included in Chinee Orchestra are the following:

  • Wind instruments: ChineeWinds (various Chinese flutes), ChineeNanXiao, ChineeSheng, ChineeSuoNa, ChineeGuanZi, ChineeHuLuSi, ChineeXun, ChineeBaWu.
  • String instruments: ChineeErHu, ChineeErHu II, ChineeJinHu, ChineeZhongHu, ChineeGaoHu, ChineeBanHu, MatouQin.
  • Plucked instruments: ChineeGuZheng II, ChineePiPa, ChineeGuQin, ChineeLiuQin, ChineeSanXian, ChineeRuan.
  • Percussion instruments: ChineeKong V3 (various Chinese percussions), ChineeYangQin.

    Changes in v2.11

    • QIN RV updated to v2.11.
    • Added new presets for each instrument
    • Note ranges changed for some instruments(mostly the fiddles), for improved notation software mapping
    • Some minor bug fixes and small cosmetic tweaks to make GUI easier on the eyes.
