Software Description

WinCDG Pro 3 is the rebirth of this classic line with support for the new operating systems (this includes Windows Vista). WinCDG Pro 3 can play karaoke, video, and audio. It will play CD+G and CD-Audio discs. It also includes the basic import (or "ripping") from CD+G to MP3+G.

WinCDG Pro 3 continues to include the fast CD+G and MP3+G playback routines and the feature that first made is famous, the direct CD+G Disc playback. Have a look at the new features now included in this new release and enjoy the eclectic mix of the features carried from the original.

go tot he www.mtu.com website and download a DEMO version of their microstudio program or their hoster program...then, use the "detect drives" icon within the program you choose...the program will tell if all cd/dvd rom drives installed on your computer are karaoke compatible or just plain old audio compatible....hope this helps!!!

How wrong you WERE....there are alot more now...but it will still depend on which software you are using.....generally, each respective website will have a supported CD burners etc List somewhere.

CDRWin seems to still have the biggest Supported Drives List....and it is a great program to rip & burn...lol...if you're "naughty"....hehe

But....to make it simple...get a plextor CDRW drive....as most...and I say again...MOST programs will support Plextor drive....the older drives are great..if you can get a good one....slower ripping & burning, in my opinion, is the only way to do it....I don't rip/burn any higher than 2X....and I get good results....takes longer....but can save you time in the end...
As for CDG software...my pick is the latest Sax & Dottys Show Presenter 2.2....go to the website & check it out...too many good features to list here...plus I couldn't be bothered typing it all out...lmaoooooooooo

Yes it is. All You Need is a program called cdg2avi do a google search and you will find it. Once you have converted the cdg to an avi open it in sound forge and merge the mp3 with the video and save as mpg or save as avi and use avi2vcd which is also readily found in a google search . Have fun .

When i log my yamaha cd burner to read a cd+g it only work for 3 or 4 time after the programe do not reconise my drive as he did the first time
and it say wincdg make a mistake in bla bla bla.

Do you have the solution cause the programe is just fantastic except tha little probleme i have
