Software Description
Slow Speed CD Transcriber allows you to transcribe and record music directly from your computer's CD player. With Slow Speed CD Transcriber you may repeat any section of the music at full speed or at a lower speed by stretching the length of the music - anywhere from -50 percent (speeds it up) to 400 percent (slows it down) - without changing the original pitch. Slow Speed CD Transcriber also allows you to fine tune the music or change the key in semitones. The software reads the music digitaly from your CD - no time wasted for recording or processing.

CD Slow Speed Transcriber
I'm hoping I can transcribe police interviews for criminal cases with your software. Does it work for audio CDs as well as music CDs? Does it enable me to transcribe (type) the audio tape at a slower speed than the normal CD speed? It would help me immensely, if possible. Please answer ASAP, if possible. Thanks for your help.
slow transcriber
Are you selling this in the U.S.
I need it ASAP
Question
I am interested in this slow speed CD transcriber. I don't wan't to buy it yet, because I'm looking around for the best price. What does the "Get your free download here" icon mean. Is that like a free trial run or something. I would hate to download it if I had to pay for it. Please let me know.
Re: Question
: Darin,
Yes this is a free trial download. Most trial software is good for 30 days of use and then you have to buy it.

I have a DAT machine which I use for recording spoken word interviews. There are transcribing machines for ordinary cassettes but I have never seen any for DAT cassettes. Any suggestions?

Hi,
I have the same question. Right not I transfer MD disks to audio cassettes and then transcribe, but I'd rather just transcribe directly from the digital media. Did you find any answers?

Re: DAT transcribers
I guess that conversion software exists for
DAT to WAV (or other formats).
Once the digital format is one of the dozen or so that are popularly supported, there are another dozen or so (free and paid) programs for controlling the start stop etc functions.

Tthis software kicks butt
For what it's worth, I think this software kicks butt.
This is one of those relatively rare occurrences when I've seen really good
software that does cool stuff and costs less than you'd expect. I've had excellent results.
I highly recommend trying out the demo version.
transcribers
I am looking for software which will allow me to play a CD track and
transcribe the data into printed notation directly or by file conversion.
It must be powerful enough to capture complex, polyphonic piano solos. Obviously, no printed music exists
and this would save bundles of time at a piano.
Thanks.

Have you tried our Notation category?
