Software Description

No records getting scratched, no needles needing to be replaced, to belts breaking at the most inopportune times! With AnalogX Scratch, you can load up and two wave files (one to help you keep rhythm, the other to actually scratch), and start scratching away.

Best of all, when you've come up with something you really like, you can output it to a 16bit, 44.1k WAV file!

This is GREAT for creating custom scratches for songs, whether you transfer it over to your Emax or load it up in Acid! And just so you aren't starting from scratch (no pun intended), two WAV files are included in the install so you can get a feel for what it's all about.

Hi, I've worked my way through a few of the programs here in the search for a useable turntable emulator. So far none of the progams have been any good for me and some of them, quite possibly, no good for anybody. While doing this I had thought to myself that it would be usefull if there were a place where users of these programs could post there comments, doh!, it was right there under my nose. However having found this forum I'm confused by the way it's layed out and how it works. For example, there is a post that dated .../03 that is above a post dated 2/19/05. I don't see how this works if the forum runs with oldest at the bottom through to the newest at the top. I find the whole forum counter intuative. Just so you know.

This is Spitmasta i need your help forum. I downloaded Analogx scratch and when trying to input wav files i can't get them to work 'The error im recieving is: Only accepts mono wave files. What do i need to do to make my wav files to mono?

I've spent plenty of time mastering many different instruments and I am now a DJ that is very performance oriented. Not all DJ's just sit behind a turntable and cue up a track dumbass. Most of us run drum machines, multiple software programs, samplers, sequencers, computers, keyboards, etc. That doesn't even include what goes on in a studio/rehearsal session when you are trying to come up with new remixes or to come up with intro or original tracks. So if you don't think I'm a real musician, come take my place on the stage sometime.

Ever consider the fact that some dj's may have come from a musical background? After having mastered an instrument maybe they find it fun to experiment with scratches and mixes.

You may also want to take a minute and realize that these folks are at least doing SOMETHING musical and utilizing some talent. You may not like it, but they're contributing something.

I'm no dj, don't think I could ever really do it well, but I play the piano (which I have played for 22 years) and think it's sad that you would waste your time discouraging people on this web site instead of encouraging folks on another site.
