Saturator is a plug-in that emulates the non-linear curve of analog tape in saturation. The Saturator can add up to 6dB of gain to the signal to push it into overdrive whereby soft clipping begins. When used properly the Saturator can add that "analog sound" to your tracks or can be used to boost low level signals giving them an "analog edge".
