Morpheus AutoStarts Every 60 Seconds!!
I downloaded spyware on accident. I bought a bunch of antispyware stuff like Spyware Doctor, Microsoft Antispyware, Windows Defender, and Spyware Remover. They found lots of stuff and deleted it, but Morpheus still keeps opening itself up every 60 seconds. I tried uninstalling Morpheus, knowing that this was not the actual problem, but now I just get an error message every 60 seconds that says Morphues.exe has generated errors and needs to be restarted. HELP!!!

morpheus removal solution
I had the exact same problem, but it is now solved. Go to Zsoft uninstall and download the software scroll down to morpheus and press delete then go to the control panel and make sure it is gone. It worked for me and hopefully it will work for everyone else.

This was an excellent solution and everyone who's had the "blank box" prob should use this download....genius!!! and it's free. Just search "ZSoft" on Jeeves or search engine.
help i can't start morpheus v5.1.2
it installs correctly but when i try to open it a microsoft windows error window pops up and windows can not open morpheus and has two buttons on the bottom of the window that says send error report and the other says don't send. i use windows xp home edition. so can someone help me i really want to use this program. i have used this program before but it was the version of morpheus before this version. so can someone help me? Thank You

this program is suck!!!
i have tried several times uninstalling it and re-installing it.But the condition is still the same...it won't start!!!i'm using windows XP professional and when tried to launch it,suddenly a browse box appeared and it said windows is searching for Morpheus.exe...and i can't even find the Morpheus.exe in my hardisk...was Morpheus trying to fool me?
do you have any solution???

I'm having the same problem. I had a version installed this time last year, but uninstalled it on a disk cleanup. Now, it installs okay, but everytime it starts, it automatically closes up and generates the Window's error box with the report options.

can't download
Morpheus.com is not loading. I can't download Morpheus. I used to use it, but got a new computer and now can't find a download link that works. HELP!

uninstalling

crap
i just deleted everything one file at a time and i stick with limewire less problems this thing doesn't work at all it did before and now it's just crap
stays in connecting mode
it says it is connectiing and it never does an i let down all my fire walls and reinstalled it and it still doesn't work

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All of the posts below relate to an older version of Morpheus. The Program has been updated on our website and so far no new problems have been reported.

The new version (5.1.1.883) can be tricky to uninstall. Morpheus requires you the state a reason for the uninstall and would only actually follow through with the command if you attempted the uninstall while Morpheus was connected.
can not upload
morpheus doesn't allow me to upload files.I can download files but not upload.When a morpheus member trys to download from me it says (closed)I have a cable and use a cable modem
I CAN'T UNISTALL MORPHEUS 5.0
Please, please someone tell me how to uninstall morpheus 5.0. Everytime I try, it says that it's still running. It is NOT still running. What do I do?

i have spent the last three hours tring to get morpheus off of my computer hopefully this will help. whe it morpheus asks you if you want to update to a newer version, say yes. in the process of installing the newer version it must shut down the old. have your add/remove program screen ready while the new software is downloading remove morpheus. you will not gwt an imeadiate response, but while morpheus is tring to innitialize you will get the uninstall screen from add/remove. i know it sounds convaluted and complicated, but all your doing is tricking morpheus into completely shutting down long enough to uninstall it. sounds like something out of a movie, but it works

I'm having the exact same problem. When I use the "Remove Hardware" to Uninstall Morpheus is says it's running but nothing is running - unless something is running in the background and they did that on purpose so you can't uninstall their software. HELP!!

Well, it helps to have a very paranoid person on your side when programs like this go berserk on you. My friend helped me out by having me install Spybot:Search&Destroy (which can be downloaded at www.download.com)
Once spybot is installed, make sure it is set to advanced settings within advanced settings there is a tab called tools.
Within tools there is a option to use secure shredder. Go to program files and drag entire Morpheus folder into the shredder pane. Then choose to shred it, default five pieces per file is enough.
This will completely remove all spyware and program from your computer just like using an uninstaller. To be sure that all spyware is gone run a program like adaware and also use CCleaner to remove registry of Morpheus. Hope this helps.
morpheus gettin weaker
this p2p program used to be really good. since they upgraded it, it freezes all the time. yes i know i should update it, i already did that.

I HAVE FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET MORPHEUS TO WORK!
i have the same problems as loads of other, morpheus just wont start up at all! well today i got sick and uninstalled everything to do with morpheus, firstly i went through the usual add/remove, then i went through the directories and deleted every file morpheus related, then i moved all my downloads to a different file, and deleted morpheus folders, then use the search facility in the start menu, search my computer for morpheus, and wait, then delete all files it finds, if you have yahoo anti spyware, on these results right hand click on one and click open containing folder, it will then open a winrar file, press the folder up button and delete the containing folders from there, then download and install morpheus! works fine now!

i have morpheus 4.9 and recently i tryed to make a cd and i dint know how so i went to new playlist so then a wias addin it was workin fine now at the side it just says wen a clik oan a diffrent song 1.2.3... at the side and i can listen to music how can i fix this
New 5.0 version
I thought it would be great to get the newest version of Morpheus. I have always loved and trusted the program. I got the latest 5.0 version and now I can't get anything to download. It all just sets there at 0%. I tried to get back to the 4.9.2 version and it won't let me get it. I keep getting the new 5.0 Hopefully the problem will work itself out. I will stick with Morpheus because I believe in the program.

issues downloading files
I am running win Xp Pro and use Zonlabs Zonealarm 5.x firewall. When Morpheus loads up fine and finds files, but when I try to download files it stops responding and crashes. Your thoughts?

yes finally someone is having the same problems i thought it was just my computer .mine seems to crash as soon as you pree to download a file .

I've got the same problem.
Before i've used Morpheus and had no problems now i've upgraded to 4.9.2 as soon as i find files and want to download them the program chrased. Re-install a previous version did not help.....???

I was able to download morpheus before but when I click on the icon I get a message saying that the web is not available at this time please try again later. I've been trying for the past couple of days I the same message appears. I uninstalled and then installed it again but it's not working.

Do you have a firewall? Windows XP firewall running maybe?

Morpheus drops connection and freezes
When I start Morpheus everything is fine. I can search a few times and get results. Then I get no more search results for the thrid and fourth search so I think I am disconnected. When I try to reconnect it just keeps saying "connecting" and finally will freeze up!
Anyone got this issue or know how to fix? I have latest version as of Jan 2005

Mine does the exact same thing. I made the mistake of buying Morpheus Ultra. I can get results from a search, but then I'll try to dowload and it'll say receiving 0% and I never get past 0% progress. Trash!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a similar issue. Morpheus connects and everything and i can even begin downloading files. However, after about 30 seconds the connections stop but morpheus is still connected. The only way i can get the download to continue is to shut down morpheus and restart the program. It's a pain in the ass though. Can anyone help?

works fine for me
morpheus works fine for me, except it lags my computer like nothing else. it's just a little annoying.
During downloading morpheus gets stuck at the resolving hostname
During downloading, morpheus gets stuck at the "resolving hostname" part. It won't go passed it. How do I get morpheus to get passed this part, and completely download? Thanks!
