Software Description
Requires Win 3.1x. Sample rates between 11 and 48 kHz, 8 and 16 bit sample depth, Mono and Stereo, Jukebox function for up to 999 MOD-Files in one session, generates playlists with files from up to 100 directories, Hotkeys for all player functions.
Mod4win is now free in 2.4 version !

I'm a student with an outdated system (486DX-66) and I'm just happy to see a program that I like AND I can actually run it on my dinosaur computer!

p.s. i downloaded this program (a beta version of it anyway) and it would not run.. i continuosly(spell?) got 'program performed a illegal operation in modual(spell?) player32.dll
what is wrong?!!? (or is it because it's a beta)
I LOVE MOD4WIN, but I wish it were FreeWare 2! :(

It's awesome...
I've had it for quite a while now, and it is just
great. No support for .it, but every other format
I have come across works with it.
It is also quite nice to be able to just set a
playlist, and listen away. Just once it is registered,
don't fool in the registration box, or it will
unregister on you.

Apparently it is...
I love this program too. I recently did a search
for it and turned up a page that claimed that
development has now stopped. It said that
the last version of Mod4Win is FREE (!!), see:

I just want to say that thirty days is too short for me. I always keep installing en re-installing
Mod4Win, and now I'm very tired. So, i like mod4win, but i want it to be freeware.
