Software Description
Midi Master is a utility which uses information from a Midi file to play music through a sample based synthesizer, producing high quality sound through to your system's loudspeaker.
It also has the capability to render the sound to hard disk in the form of an .aiff file which can be subsequently burned to a Music CD using iTunes or any other disk burning utility.
Attempted download (4 times!)
I attempted downloading MidiMaster 2000, V8.0 four different times, from two different ISPs. Absolutely nothing happened, even after clicking on the button which said it should start downloading within 30 seconds - but didn't. I came across a version of MM which I had downloaded in 1996 but not registered, and when I re-installed in on a brand new computer, it said that it had expired, so I am attempting to get a current version - which I definitely will register, if only I can download it. I remember the sound of the 1996 version, it was excellent - but I've been away from computing for the past three years. Can you help?
MM is great
I have been using Midimaster 5.0 and I think it is great. It is simple to use and does everything a midi player should do. I finally decided to upgrade and at present am downloading 7.8.
