Software Description

MacWaves is an IRC utility that automates many tasks that previously required tedious typing, and adds many new features to Macintosh IRC never before available. MacWaves has taken Macintosh IRC from lagging behind it's PC counterparts to setting a standard to be emulated by PC programmers!

MacWaves is the ultimate electronic diplomat, making seamless use of AppleScript communications pipelines to tightly integrate itself with Onno Tijdgat's ircle and Norman Franke's SoundApp.

MacWaves v3.0 File Assistant will recognize and automatically move files with these extensions: .avi, .bas, .bat, .bin, .bmp, .com, .cpt, .dll, .doc, .eps, .exe, .gif, .hqx, .htm, .ico, .ini, .jpg, .mpg, .pic, .ra, .ram, .rtf, .sea, .sit, .tif, .txt, .wri, .xls, .zip

  • mirc-to-ircle and ircle-to-mirc color translation
  • added ability to customize main window and listbox colors
  • SmartDCC to automatically update lists on completion of DCC Get
  • enhanced local find function and IRC find function

i think this is the most useful application ever made for the macintosh even though i dont know what IRC is

reading wav files from CF media on a Mac

I use a digital dictaphone (walkabout tour) which records dictation on a CF card by San Disk. I then attach the file to an e-mail and e-mail. I do this on a PC. I want to use a Mac. There are new USB CF readers, but I need to be able to attach the file to my e-mail. Will your program work for this purpose, or can you advise how I can get a Mac to read or open a wav file.

i have been using sound app as app to play ircle..wav files
but i noticed on irc...alot of PC people have been playing
mp3 files...unfortuneatly...sound app wont play mp3's yet..
wouldnt it be great if one mac app would play all of them....

please help...
