Re: Hi
I think that is great, about the bralie and all!
Hi
Hi,
I think this forum is a great idea!
I work for Dancing Dots and we wrote software to
translate Lime files into braille music. I also use
Lime for personal use; however, I'm not a professional
musician.
Ciao,
Albert
Welcome to the new Forum
Thanks to David Cottle I found this forum. I am a retired Electronics Engineer who has been playing keyboard for about 45 years. I am NOT a professional musician by any means. I play a Technics EA5 organ as well as the new Technics KN5000 keyboard. I began using Lime about a year ago. Lime is now the only way I prepare fake music sheets (melody notes, lyrics, and chord names) for the loose leaf playing book that I use. What a marvelous improvement over the old way I was doing things. But, I don't begin to scratch the surface of Lime's capabilities. I will be connecting a 2 gig hard drive and a laptop computer to the new keyboard soon at which time I will begin to play with MIDI again (it's been years) and try more of Lime's features. I can zip my Lime files and make them available to anyone who wants fake sheets.

We've discussed setting up an ftp site where users can post what they are working on. Would any one else be interested in this?
Re: Welcome to the new Forum
: Hi,
I think the ftp site would be great for posting
public domain pieces and for showing problems.
Is this what you had in mind?
Thanks,
Albert

I think that FTP site would be good and useful for more people.

This is a new site for us, and we just wanted to check it out.
