Software Description

LP Recorder has been designed specifically to record vinyl LPs to CD-standard WAV files. These can subsequently be converted to MP3 files or stored on CD. LP Recorder is an ideal companion program to LP Ripper. Special features of LP Recorder suited to recording vinyl to WAV files include: Automatically adjusts optimum recording levels to avoid distortion. Auto start and auto stop for easy operation. Visual stereo level meters can be used to check recording levels before AND during recording. Level meters are displayed even if not supported by your soundcard etc.

Not recording

Although my LP plays through my computer speakers, the volume bar never shows a level. My created wav files never play, or are 0kb in size. My sound card is ESS allegro 1. Any Help?

Select line-in as a recording input using Windows Volume control (you only have to do this once unless you change it again). See the Troubleshooting section in the LP Recorder Help file for step by step instructions.
