J1000 BETA is similar in functionality to J1000 Alpha, but adapted to mixing.

It's frequency faders and Q factor selection work in exactly the same way. Only gain range is increased to +/-6dB, or +/-12dB with x2 button. HP and LP filter faders control the cutting frequency for each filter, while small buttons next to them activate resonance mode. When resonance is turned on appropriate filter has ~3dB peak before it's cutting frequency, which is useful for creating more prominent sound. If you need really drastic EQ-ing (big boosts/cuts or very high Q factors) this is not an adequate plugin for the task. On other hand, if you wan't subtle tool for enhancing timbral properties of an instrument or voice, rather than altering them beyond recognition, Beta will suit just fine.
