Software Description
Are you a blind singer or instrumentalist who needs to have braille scores quickly? Are you an educator or rehabilitation professional serving blind musicians who has no time to learn to be a braille music transcriber? GOODFEEL can help you. GOODFEEL automatically converts several kinds of music files to braille - the same files used to print the score for sighted players. To prepare and transcribe these files with GOODFEEL, you do not need to know how to read braille music; however, you should know how to read print music notation and how to use Windows-based software.
New in v3.0
- Quickly transcribe to braille from Finale, Sibelius and other popular music notation software used by band, orchestra and choir directors
- Synchronized scrolling of print and braille notation for current musical measure
- Ships with Lime 8 which simplifies entering of text annotations and has a new MusicXML import/export feature.
- Blind musicians can now scan, read and write musical scores with the Lime notation editor that ships with GOODFEEL via the new Lime Aloud JAWS-based access features. Lime Aloud is a Whole New Way for the Blind to Read and Write Music
- Blind musicians can easily create print and equivalent braille transcriptions for collaboration with sighted or blind teachers, colleagues or students.
- Friendlier user interface to permit easier customization of braille music output
- Optional integration with the Duxbury (literary) Braille Translator to facilitate transcription of theory or method books that have large blocks of expository text.

I am trying to purchase some Braille Music software myself, but here is another thought. I have band textbooks for my students ordered from APH. They do stock a nice selection for a variety of instruments. Also, I use the Library of Congress Music dept. Their number is 1-800-424-8567. Good Luck!
guitar chords in braille
My name is Victor Graham from Belfast. Several months ago I finished and produced a book in braille text and diagram on how to teach blind people to learn to play the guitar. The book has been passed by many blind students and they all agree that it was easy to learn from. I hold the rights to this book. As I have not got the machinery to mass produce it, I was wondering if you(s) would like to consult with me over a small fee to take the rights of my hands. Yours Sincerely Victor Graham.
Re: guitar chords in braille
Could you please let me know what book this is. I have an old student who is 18 years old and trying to teach herself guitar. She's totally blind. Any help would be appreciated.
