Figleaf is no longer available
We have left this page here for those who are still using the software and want to use the comments area
- Generates the title and playing time for each track
- Retrieves Albumtitle and Artist (if possible)
- Retrieves the Coverimage from emusic or through a Google Search
- Generates an Inlet and a back cover for standard CD jewel cases
- Does not print to CD Inlet stationery like Avery or Zweckform. Plain Paper and scissors only
- Only a single specific layout is possible. If you want your CDs to look different, Figleaf is not for you
With Figleaf you can simply drag the folder of mp3 files onto the Figleaf window and it will generate the tracklist for you. To get tracknames from CDs you need to have a CDDB (or freedb) query application open, like NetCD or iTunes. When you insert the CD, the CDDB application will retrieve the tracknames (and the CD Title and Artist) from the CDDB (or freedb) and store it in a special file on your Mac. Drag the CD onto the Figleaf window. Figleaf will retrieve the track information and display the tracklist. To get the cover image, push the "Get Cover", which will again open a Google request in your browser. Save an image and drag that saved image to the Figleaf Window.
