Software Description

Fat Rock Studio is a multitrack, digital audio recorder (harddisk recording-studio). It has 16 stereo/mono channels and is designed to work just like a real world recorder. It implements a plugin-architecture for realtime audio processing effects. The best comparision is probably with an A-DAT recorder.

Work it doesn't... Not a bit.... Nice graphics face to look at. Promises simplicity. Delivers a smile, as in, "Is this a joke?" I would be embarrassed to release something so obviously, fatally, flawed... unless it was meant to be a satire, a waster of time, a bring up to let down.... At least it didn't crash my computer. It excused itself from the table like a good guest. If this kid (and I would bet it is a youngster who hasn't met the value of PROOF-READING and TESTING face to face in the mirror of life) ever pulls this thing together enough to function as a decent scratch pad/demo maker that is still free, I will be sure to post good things at various venues.... Then again, it could be an intentional farce....
