Record your Audio and MIDI data, then edit the tracks using Pro’s powerful pattern based sequencing. Depending on hardware, you can have up to 25 stereo audio tracks and 1000 MIDI tracks.

Sound Studio Pro provides you with a huge number of powerful effects. For audio tracks there is Time Stretching, Pitch Shifting, Compression, Reverse, Fade In / Out, Insert, Tremolo and Panning, plus more than 30 Real Time audio effects such as Echo, Delay, and Reverb.

For your MIDI tracks, Sound Studio Pro gives you Groove Quantize with Groove Capture (from Wave file or MIDI file), an Arpeggiator (Guitar Strum, Analogue Bassline Sequences), Humanizer, Time Machine, and Controller Sweep Generator.

Any chance you could pss me a copy that works please? I used to use it in 2002 and have gone Mac now but have just got a windows laptop and loved SSP and SSG before it but can't find any copies in my hard drives or discs

I had the sound Studio Pro, on a Demo Disc, way back in the 2007's.

Sadly it got waylaid with other items of mine..

I am trying to replace it, as it was likeable and good to use for Storing, & retrieving Music tracks etc,.

Do you have a relaease that I can use on Windows 7..

I'm presently looking for the same or similar Demo on this web Site.

ive stuck with Sound Studio from day one. ive had most of the versions & have to say they are very easy to use. its got to the stage now that im looking for a new sequencer just to get up to date. Cubase and Cakewalk are probably the top contenders .. but having tried the LE editions of both i have to say im having general set up problems. i have differing problems in both. im not really that bothered by how they look .. but i still cant find anything to match Sound Studio. its a shame they stopped marketing their fab sequencer. familiarity does breed contempt! i hate having to learn it all again. boring ...ZZZzzzz
i wonder if i will get another 10years out of the old sequencer?

I have the same Evolution Mk-249, but it comes with Sound Studio 2, not Pro. You only need the midi and usb drivers for the keyboard to work in nearly any music creation software compatable with your midi enabled sound card. Evolution is now run by M-Audio, (find link on left) and is providing all the drivers and documents you need for your MK-249. Hope this helps and sorry i didnt see your post sooner, as you may not even need this info any more,lol. Good luck.

M Audio no longer offer any support for Sound Studio in any form. if you have been lumbered with the pro demo I am afraid that is all you get, you cannot buy the update nor upgrade. neither is there any fix that I have found that works for turning it on.Shame really for SSII Pro is probably one of those classics that will go down in history. I only have the ordinary SS II that you get with the keyboard. In its own right a good program once you fix the odd bugs.

I buyed this product and I'v got a bad experince whith it.
Like me the idea, but the software is really bad.
If you connect a device a MIDI port the program crah.
If you have a song with more beats that 160, and you want record the chords not is possible or the program crash.
If you edit an accompaniement the software crash.
If you apply an effect the program crash.
If you want actualize the program say that your software (buyed in CD original) is not OK.
If you write to Evolution, the response is 'Sorry but I can understand to you please write in Spanish'
If you write it in Spanish the response is 'I'm sorry but I cannot speak Spanish. Only French and Geraman'
etc, etc, etc.

menu asking for auser name and password. Am I supposed to register to
get a password. I thought that this was a free trial.

If I have to pay for this should I go for the cheaper version? I am not
a professional DJ or muisian. I want somthing to play around with
to put music together using extracts from my CDs.
