Software Description
EarMaster School is an interactive and effective tool for teaching ear training. It provides you with an effective learning-by-doing approach to ear training. Students will develop better musical ears because they are not just passive recipients. It is easy to use and it provides you with many great features for teaching ear training. Exercises are within the areas of chords, intervals, rhythms, melodies, scales and modes.
EarMaster School comes with a jazz tutor and a standard tutor with a total of 651 lessons. They are ready to use in your teaching or they can be inspiration for you to make your own lessons in the Tutor editor.
EarMaster School is the network edition of EarMaster with student administration and report facilities, multi-user and network facilities and a tutor editor.

I am having problems with earmaster 4.0 I have windows xp and am wondering if earmaster is compatible. When i downloaed EM I lose the use of certain programmes on my laptop specifically my cd rewriter, if it is not compatible can I get an update on the internet.

Nice One
This is a really nicely designed program. Uncluttered
and to the point, you may find yourself sitting in front
of it for hours having agreat time, without even
realising how much actual ear training you're doing.
By the looks of things, it would be really good for
teachers as well - you can set up an entire class list,
put the thing on a network and automatically save every pupils
results.

You can have all the free eartraining programs you want as well as making your own wave sounds and a program that makes folk tonal algorithmic music at johnrfrancis.com
