Software Description

Denzo Guitar Software (DGS) is, without dubt, a unique software in the range of guitar related application. This uniqueness is determined by it's attention to music theory that is usually is forgotten by all other guitar product.

You can manage concept as chord/scale relationship, inversions, subscales, similar chord, tonaly, harmonization, fourth harmony, analisys of chord from its notes, and other that I usually describe as harmony tools.

DGS offers a wide range of functionalities to map note on fretboard with different rules, so you can think C, E, G as a chord and you can find all possible positions, inversions of this chord (you have more that 12 different parameter to describe which type of chord you're looking for); or you can think C, E, G as an arpeggio (scale) and ask DGS which are the best position to play it. Obviously are also supported the inverse functions to obtain chord/scale name from fretboard position.
Any algorithm consider the current tuning (that you can alter as you like before any search), information regarding fret extension, difficult to play positions, and so on.

Finally DGS offers functionality to map music (MIDI or MUS format) to fretboard and manage chord linking and Chord Melody progressions.

  • Harmonizing every scale with every pattern (per thirds, fourths etc) find any chord in any scale with masks like every sixth chord

  • Finding all similar chords
  • Extending a chord over a scale
  • Finding all subscales of one scale: all pentatonic for example in C MAGGIORE

  • Calculate chords defining fret on a virtual fretboard
  • You can ewith two chords (for improvising between 2 chords)
  • Export all chords in chordPlay format
  • All extension for MUS (my own music format) managing
  • All of this mapped on a piano keyboard for pianists

Horrible Program

This is a horrible program. Very user unfriendly. Author needs to translate completely into English. A help file would be nice. The website contradicts itself. On the program download page it say you need to register but on the forum it says that you dont??. Save yourself some trouble and dont download it.

You don't pay for it, what's the problem... Probably you're not able to use it.

I can't run the visual basics programs I make because of vbrun300.dll. I downloaded the vbrun but yet my visual basic program does not see it. perherp i need to copy vbrun300.dll into my system file. i dont know the command for copying it.

Won't download all the way

Teh program will only download about 57% and then shoots to 100%, says file downloaded and when I to to open it, it gives me a incomplete file message. So far, it is a headache. Help?

Mine is only getting to 108kb's which is obviously not right, and then as above, it zooms to 100% and says its downloaded, then it comes up eith a corrupt or invalid file error msg, pox monkeys!

Can't get registration server

Where you can find VBRUN300.dlll

Before you can start application you need to install VBRUN300.DLL.
You can find it in my site at http://members.xoom.com/denzissimo or at Microsoft or at any freeware download sites as Zdnet, shareware.com etc.
After you download dll you have to copy it in your system directory:
- win95, Win3.x: c:/windows/system
- NT: c:/winnt/system
