Software Description
ComPad is an Organic MIDI Sequencer. The term Organic suggests that ComPad stresses the ability to transform and mutate motivic cells in a number of ways, enabling the user to intuitively build pieces of music out of material that is derived from other ideas in the same piece.
An ordinary sequencer will do as it's told when it comes to recording, editing and playing back input. But when it comes to knowledge about the music in question, most sequencers are passive tools. This is where ComPad is different. ComPad knows more than others about the harmonic content of the music actually recorded, enabling the user to rapidly experiment with the given musical material's possibilities.

Re: Compad
You can use any midi-compatible sound source. Your internal soundcard will be fine.
