Software Description
CloneCD is the perfect tool to make backup copies of your music and data CDs, regardless of copy protection. CloneCD's award-winning user interface allows you to copy almost any CD in just a few mouse clicks.
Since the release of 5.0, CloneCD is not only able to copy CDs but also most DVD formats, such as DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R Dual Layer and DVD-RAM. The movies are copied 1:1 and therefore not modified (compressed). Note that to copy movie DVDs you also require AnyDVD.
CloneCD also works with other formats such as ISO and UDF files and copies CDs/DVDs with the new SafeDisc 3 Copy Protection System. CloneCD allows you to create perfect 1:1 copies of your valuable original compact discs. Should your copy-protected music CD not play in your car audio, the backup created by CloneCD will.

Re: ROM RIPPER
When you have the romripper and Nightmare 2.0, say me Please how big is the file or send it me, but my email memory is 8 mb big.
sorry my english is bad
Thanks
Re: ROM RIPPER
: I want to tell you some thing.
: The reality is, <B style="color:black;background-color:#ffff66">rom </B><B style="color:black;background-color:#A0FFFF">ripper</B> cannot be real, the reason for this is
: -it would be all over the net and easy to find
: -there wouldn't be so many people asking for it
: -the roms WOULD be on the internet somewhere
: -the company ask you to send the money to a P.O. Box number (they are hard
: to trace)
: -and low level hardware coding is put into a HUGE file, besides, programming
: a CD to read different format discs is like programming a normal CD drive to
: have the ability to burn CD-R's, it can't be done. and even if it could, all
: CD's <B style="color:black;background-color:#ffff66">rom</B> drives are programmed differently, the <B style="color:black;background-color:#ffff66">rom </B><B style="color:black;background-color:#A0FFFF">ripper</B> company say it

: Sorry, but the reality is, there is no working <B style="color:black;background-color:#99ff99">dreamcast</B> emulator at the

Best CD Writer for Clone CD
I know there are alot of preferences as far as CD Writers go... and that there isn't 1 perfect CD Writer. I am purchasing a new P4 2.2 Ghz with all of the bells and whistles. I will be using Windows XP as my OS. My question is... What in YOUR OPINION would you suggest as a top of the line CD Writer for Clone CD? (Cost is not a factor) I did look up the compatibility for the CD Writers, and according to the reviews, the Sony CR-X175A1 and CR-X185E3 looked to be the best.

Re: Best CD Writer for Clone CD (CDRINFO.COM)
Have a look at www.CDRINFO.com thay have reviews of a good selection of drives and they tell you what drives are good for music copying, software backups ;) etc.Good EFM correction is needed for Safedisc v2.8+ backups. Drives with Mediatek chips are normally good for this. (Asus to name one, there are others.)
Re: Best CD Writer for Clone CD
It's got to be the new PLEXTOR,(IT ROCKS)

Re: Best CD Writer for Clone CD
Don't buy a Sony! Have you ever heard of Safedisc 2? Almost any Philips based burner can copy most protected games without AWS turned on! A true perfect 1:1 copy of protected games! A Sony would require Amplify weak sectors to copy Red Alert 2

Re: Best CD Writer for Clone CD
Iuse my burner alot and have many conmputers ranging from P2 to a P4 and even an Anthlon I have used sony cd burners with very good luck but i also have to say i like my tdk more. I also use a plextor wich is a very good model and one thing to consider if you are ever gonna try to make cd+g karaoke discs you have to use the plextor by itself or use a toshiba or other good dvd drive because sony and tdk cant read the sub channel data very well.

I have used a Sony, Yamaha and LG. In my opinion, I found the LG to be the best because of its' cost and performance. The big bonus to this writer is that it has buffer underrun technology as well as an 8MB buffer. Most other writers have only 2MB buffer and no underrun technology. Do your research though. An LG 32x10x40 CDRW costs approx $100CDN.
