Software Description

Chord Charts Pro can create chord and scale diagrams for guitar or piano/keyboard in various formats:

  • Vector (emf, svg), particulary suitable for a high quality print-out
  • Raster (png, jpg, gif, bmp)

The extensive options of CCP allow to configure/design each component of a diagram and to save different configurations (Styles). Chords can be either set directly on a fretboard or selected from a list of grip variations of a chord type. Thereby the chart is generated immediately and can be copied to the clipboard or saved to a file with just one click.

  • "Scale" to the first feature => Create guitar chord/scale charts
(formats: emf, svg, png, jpeg, gif, bmp)

  • "Scale" to "Chord Library" => Chord/Scale library
  • "Create and store chord lists (chord movement of a song etc.)" before the last line ("Languages:...")
  • Create guitar chord charts (formats: emf, svg, png, jpeg, gif, bmp)
  • Extensive design possibilities
  • Arbitrary number of strings
  • Create and save styles
  • Fretboard with MIDI playback
  • Store multiple fingerings per chord
  • Chord Library
  • Chord Input Assistant
  • Languages: English and German

Potential!

Has the potentiality to become the definitive guitar chord / voicing / scale / arpeggio app for Guitar - and other fretted intruments - and Piano. Still there are some graphic presentation inconsistencies when saving to different formats.

This developer should really be supported!
