Software Description

CD Wave is a program designed to aid in CD-Recordable mastering. Split WAV files from any source, like LP, tape or
even CD. After recording, you can let CD Wave automatically calculate split
points, or you can manually add and delete split points. Write out the
tracks as individual wave files and use any CDR mastering program to write a
disc that has no clicks or pops in between tracks. Also useful as CUE sheet editor. Scheduling is possible.


Supports up to 24-bit and multichannel audio.

New in v1.95.1

  • Removed directory tree in save dialog, now using browse button. This should fix problems with large font settings as well.
  • Fixes a translation issue in CUE sheets

I have downloaded the free trial but am unable to save. Before I purchase this product I want to make certain this is not a glich in the product. Perhaps it is a feature of the free version. Does anyone know.

if you have a wave file already record on your hard drive, how do record that file and split the track into two separate tracks.

I am unfamiliar with the abilities of a wave editor. I need to be able to manipulate songs I have downloaded and saved.
Does this wave editor allow me to tweek the song to my liking (for example: can it adjust the tempo or remove the lyrics)? If so, can I then save the edited track to my current list of songs, or are the changes only applicable while using the editor?

Will this type of program allow me to
disect an audio CD?

I play guitar and would like to eliminate the vocals (lyrics)off a CD and retain specifically the background music and singers. Is this possible with this type of software?
In other words I would like to play my guitar and sing lead with an edited audio CD of which I have edited the lead singer and now have a CD without the lead singer.

Hello. I have recently purchased a Kodak c.d Writer and I was wondering if you know of any programs which I could download from the Internet to make my own custom c.d's. The reason I am asking you this is because I download all the songs and then when it comes to set them up into burning them it simply doesn't wont let me put some songs into the tracks list to burn them.
