Software Description
BitMapMusic is a free music notation program, suitable for notating a few lines of music. Printed output, while limited to the screen resolution, is reasonable enough to read comfortably. BMM can also export to PICT format, making it a useful tool for Music-As-Graphics.

Bitmapped Music
Have downloaded the program, but it will not run.
Waste of time trying this program
download
I cannot download your program onto my imac. when i try to open it, I'm told there is no default application specified to open the application, and all the urls you've listed to download later versions take me to the same site, which is a default error site. I have trouble downloading programs, anyway, unless they are completely "do it itself," where I just have to hit the continue button, but I don't think this is the problem with this program. There doesn't seem to be any download application in the download.
BitMapMusic
Where are you, BitMapMusic. Cannot find your download site for 1.6.1
Your earlier version extremely useful but would appreciate 12 staves instead of 8 only
Windows Version
Do you plan on offering or do you have a windows version of your program?

BitMap
BitMap is simple and easy to use.
BitMapMusic doesn't run
Unfortunately, I loaded the program twice from the Internet into my PowerMac 5500/225, System 8.0, and it didn't run. The first time it freezed my computer by starting the program, the second time I got an error message saying that it would be too less memory. Even as I gave 14 MB to the program, I got this message. Who can tell me what's wrong with this "very good program to use"?! I'd be grateful for answers directly to my e-mail-box.
Thanks a lot, Tomas Eckardt

BitMapMusic-a very good program to use
This is Louis Mazur from St. Joseph Missouri.
I would say that "BitMapMusic" is a very good program
to use. I was looking for a music notation that you
can use in any setting, including classroom.
The program itself has got a lot going for it, and
is not complicated at all.
If you are looking for a simple music notation program
that is simple to use, this is the one to get.
