Software Description
Peak 4 DV is an extraordinary audio post-production tool. Based upon BIAS Peak — the world's most popular stereo editing application for the Mac — its streamlined feature set is optimized for users of Final Cut Pro, iMovie, iDVD, Premiere, DVD Studio Pro, and other digital video editing and DVD authoring applications. And it comes at a very special price.
Using Peak DV 4, you can record, edit, and process audio easily and professionally — all while synchronized (with better-than-frame-accuracy) to QuickTime movies and DV clips. You can record voiceovers or dialouge replacement in a snap. Design custom sound effects and spot them instantly to picture. Create Hollywood-caliber music bed loops. You can trim — and even time-compress or time-expand — dialouge, music cues, and other audio elements to match scene in/out points.
Whether you're creating for film, video, the Web, or games, if you care about your sound as much as you need to care about your picture, Peak DV 4 is the tool you need.
Peak DV 4.1
Hi
I seem to have bouht several copies of version 3 by buying FCP and DVD Studio Pro, as recently as this year, but sadly none of them will work with Panther.
i don't need another audio package as such, since I work in pro audio as a composer and use Logic and Pro tools. However, I do lecture to up-coming students (Kingston and Ravensbourne) and would love to be able to recommend a product such as yours. Obviously i don't want to pay full price for it, but is there any 'upgrade' path available from 3?
