Software Description

The Audio LAB is an audio laboratory for your computer, it incorporate an osciloscope, a real time spectrum analizer (RTA) and an audio generator with 6 types of waveform, including noise. Using an audio card with good technical characteristics, like the Creative Labs AWE 64 Gold, all these components present a high degree of precision and enough quality for the use in professional audio.

This thing took 1:38 min to reach 50% and most of the time the little
"network" icon was dark! The rate showed 0.2K exchange rate and it was
crawling so bad that my computer thought it was done with more than an hour
to wait for it to finish. I couldn't even get this rate after 11 pm est on
Friday night.
If you can't download it within a reasonable time, ....why try?
I can't find anything on this site that is what it says it is!

to get it going again. I make my own sub woofers "gutrumblers"
and the noise generator and spectrum analizer (RTA) is fine for this

Not Freeware; a demo

The Audio LAB MLABInstUS.zip is not freeware. It is a demo that shuts down after an unknown time period.

Many recent freeware programs do require registration, but this time around an examination of the author's site shows only one program clearly labelled as freeware. Since his main page has an unmistakably labelled order form I conclude that this program is shareware. I also conclude that the mistake is Hitsquad's, since they mistakenly called it AudioLab but the author calls it MicroLab. But hey, Hitsquad IS free, and they point us to lots of great stuff so who cares?
