Software Description
Edits 28 audio file formats and save as WAV, MP3, WMA, AAC, MP4, M4A. Records to any of the 6 formats.
Features:
- Auto stop timer - stop recording after a preset time - handy if you know the length of a song on tape or vinyl.
- Record new file or append to existing file.
- Record Internet Radio Stations.
- Auto Gain option adjusts during recording to give smooth recorded volume.
- Punch In/Out allows area to be selected during playback ready for editing.
- Play, Stop, Pause, Record
- Effects - Amplify, Normalize, Echo, Stretch, Fade in/out, Invert, Reverse.
- Apply effects to all or selected area.
- Easy adjustment of effects parameters using sliders.
- Tools - Zoom in/out, Cut/Copy/Paste/Mix, Null signal, Insert silence.
- Insert another audio file to any selected point in the current file.
- Three levels of undo/redo

Audio Edit (E-soft)
Well this certainly is shareware. Either that or it is very simple and unfortunately poor. I wasn't able to save my editing.
Also one very quirky part in this software was that as I was trying to edit two wav-files together, it automatically stretched the other one, distorting the sound completely. I was able to (de)stretch it almost to its original state. A sampling software really, if even that.
