Software Description

AlgoRhythm is a drum and groove creation tool that makes it easy to create your own base rhythms and grooves for your songs. With unlimited channels and advanced export possibilities, music creation is right at your fingertips.

Real-time recording, integration of any loop with just one click, individual panning, volume and pitch for each beat, and any desired amount of quantization provides you with an invalueable tool for music creation. Not restricted to 16 or 32 beats pr. bar like a conventional sequencer. Export to WAV with a variety of options: export each drum as an individual track for mixing and producing in other music software titles.

win 98 compatibility

Hey there,

I'd like to run this program on my home PC.
400? Mhertz Pentium II
64 MB RAM
running windows 98

Its just within spec, but will not run at all.
runs fine at work with my nice XP machine.
Maybe the specs should be revised, or is there something that I can do to get it to work.

any help is appreciated

I'm having big problems with algorhythm.
I install it and when I launch it , the program begins and then I can't do anything.
The program doesn't answer and I have to quit.

Hey , anybody mind telling me whether this program is realistic sounding or not ? Because 8 MB is a lot to download as i have a slow connection :)

Or are there any sites where i can listen to loops created by algorhythm ?

I downloaded algorythm without expecting much, and I far surpassed what I thought a free sequencer could do. The bongos and some of the bass beats are really pretty good.
My problem is that the program works alright at work (often crashes) and will not work at home at all. error message come up and I am forced to close down.
This is really too bad, because I'd like to use it at home and not a work.

yes this is a very cool program.
realistic ? depends on how u use it.
it totally depends on the samples u apply to it,
but u have unlimited musical options with this
software title.
U can go to www.cooloop.com and listen to grooves created with Algorhythm and u can also download more samples.

I've used this program as well...it comes in handy when I am recording songs (since I do not own a drum kit)
and it sounds pretty realistic. The program is unstable though. I am running it on a PIII with Win 98 and it
does tend to crash often (depending on what I am doing.)

export to .wav ..?

every time i try and export a file to .wav, it comes up with a message saying "invald path". what does it all mean?

if that doesn't work use a recording device (eg. creative recorder, acoustica 3.1) and select record wav instead of mic or line in thats what i use for my songs. hope this helps.
