Software Description
The ABC2Win program uses a simple ascii tune notation known as ABC to draw musical tunes. The tunes may then be captured as bitmap images for publication.
- Reading and writing files of ABC tunes. (Files of tunes are available on the Internet.)
- Entering and modifying ABC tune data.
- Flexibility and control of the appearance of the music. A variety of options and settings allow modification of the appearance of the tune on screen and on the printed page, including: choice of fonts for titles, full support for page setup, user-controlled placement of titles and headings.
- Printing high quality pages of sheet music or music for tune books, thus supporting a full range of tune publishing needs.
- Playing tunes (with variable speed and constant pitch). This is useful as it allows listening to the tune to check the accuracy of the notation entered. It also supports learning by ear.

I would like to find a program that I can play on my keyboard, which will print out the notes as I play them. Also that I may edit, or write in symbols and etc. Also that I can print out the music as well.

Dear Mr. Vint: I had an unregistered version of ABC2Win
on my computer. I removed it to the recycle bin and disposed of it. I tried registering in on the help menu: about. It didn't work so I'm trying to go through your home page to get the registered version tonight.

Music notation software
Need suggestions for a simple, easy to use package which will allow me to play my keyboard and have the computer compose the music as I play the keyboard; then be able to edit it and print out the sheet music. I will also want to be able to type in lyrics and chord symbols.

music software needs
Looking for a reasonably priced software program to write a sheet of music for one instrument in either treble or bass clef
and need to be able to move portions to another location, transpose both the notes and the chord changes all at once. Don't want to
have to create a score to do this. And, want to print out. Suggestions?
