Line 6 introduces the V75-40V Wireless Mic, combining their wireless technology with the Earthworks WL40V hyper-cardioid capsule.

This new mic works with the Line 6 XD-V wireless platform, capable of faithfully transmitting the sound quality of Earthworks' cardioid capsule.

The capsule section of the mic utilizes the hand-tuned and tested WL40V from Earthworks. It is said to have "lightning-fast impulse response, high SPL handling and a wide frequency range." It follows a hyper-cardioid pattern that helps it capture all the details and nuances of the audio source, ideal for vocals. Other features include minimized proximity effect and a natural on/off axis performance.

Tasked to transmit the sound quality captured by the capsule is Line 6 24-bit wireless technology. It transmits the sound as transparently as possible, without applying any form of compression like other wireless systems do. The V75-40V mic uses the 4th generation wireless technology from Line 6, something that has been well received by users and critics, especially for the price range of their wireless products.
