The compact and robust speaker is powered by a built-in Class D amplifier that powers a 3" dedicated fiberglass cone woofer and a 3/4" silk dome tweeter. All these hardware are enclosed in a hardwood enclosure that is created to promote sound dynamics and improve quality.

The PMO.3 is designed to provide a compact solution for home studio recording needs, it aims to provide clear and transparent monitoring for your tracks while maintaining a space saving size for desktop home studio setups.

It inherits the same cosmetic design of their popular PM-series, only this time featuring a smaller 3" cone, ideal for home studio, listening to music and MP3 reproduction.

Aside from quality audio, the speaker also feature some added visual elements such as matte finished front baffle, multiple color options and a simple yet aesthetic profile that will easily match home studio desks and furniture. Other features of the Fostex PMO.3 include built-in 15W digital amplifiers for each channel, RCA (L,R) and stereo mini inputs.

Dave Hetrick, the National Sales Manager for Fostex US distributor, American Music and Sound, commented: "The new PM0.3 represents a new era for Fostex studio monitors, utilizing the latest in amplifier and cross-over technology, Fostex has developed not just a compact computer speaker but a professional monitoring tool that occupies the same physical space."

The PMO.3 system is currently valued at $129.99 per pair and is now available now at various US Fostex retailers.
