Fohhn introduces their latest two-way passive source/mini-line array speaker, the Linea LX-220.

LX-220 features innovative line array speaker technology in an elegant package. It is fine-tuned for speech and live music applications in places where acoustics are challenging.

This line array speaker comes with eighteen 4" speakers that are arranged in a column, along with three 1" compression drivers that feature Fohhn's waveguide horn design. This configuration results in audio that is produced in a very direct, cylindrical beam manner. This technique allows for the sound pressure levels to remain constant over distance compared to conventional loudspeakers. This makes the speaker the ideal choice if you are going for a consistent overall sound coverage.

Since the sound wave is "beamed" directly at the listeners, it has the design advantage of avoiding unwanted reflections from the ceiling or the floor, improving the intelligibility of speech even in rooms where reverb is a problem.

Finally, all the goodies inside the Linea LX-220 are protected by a sturdy and elegantly designed aluminum housing. It can be implemented for both indoor and outdoor use, just combine it with your preferred subwoofer and it is ready for live and loud applications.
