FL Studio 12 Beta
Image Line releases FL Studio 12 Beta, giving FL Studio owners a peek into the popular DAW software's upcoming version.
The official FL Studio 12 version is scheduled for release sometime in 2015, but as early as now, the company has already started the beta version which will let existing FL Studio users can try many of the new features that they'll be getting on the next release, and at the same time provide valuable feedback and inputs.
Since FL Studio updates are free for all registered users, the early beta release becomes truly interesting for the users and potential buyers of the software. If you buy the current version of FL Studio, you will get all future versions for free, so beta releases can actually help in selling the software to potential customers while at the same time it helps retain existing customers.
According to the company, FL Studio 12 Beta will showcase the new reworked interface of the upcoming official version. It is said to improve the overall workflow of the software, with the end goal being increased productivity and quicker learning curves. Although this change sounds good on paper, there are times when GUI changes can be more detrimental than helpful, so this beta release will allow users to give the company a piece of their mind.
Improved multitouch support is another notable features that the Beta version will be bringing to the table. This DAW Software can now work with a multi-touch monitor for more intuitive control over your music production. Instead of having to use a physical mixer/controller, you can now replace it with a touch screen tablet. You can then utilize the Dashboard plug-in to create your own customized controllers quickly and conveniently
