The Behringer Ultragain ADA8200 ADAT Audio Interface is now available in stores, featuring high-end MIDAS mic preamps.

This new audio interface is based on Behringer's ADA8000, but comes with high-end features like MIDAS mic preamps and reference-class Cirrus Logic converters. As expected from Behringer, the price range will not be as high-end as the specs.

The ADA8200 is designed for use with keyboards, drums, instruments and vocals. The interface is said to be easy enough for musicians to use, while still retaining enough depth for audio engineers to appreciate.

The new audio interface come with multiple inputs, including balanced XLR / TRS and unbalanced TS connectivity. It has variable Gain control, fast Signal/Clip metering, and global, true +48 V phantom power.

ADAT connectivity is also provided via a 24-bit ADAT optical output with selectable 48 / 44.1 kHz sample rates. 8 more direct analog outputs are available on the rear panel for more routing flexibility.
