Vocaloid Oliver by PowerFX
Vocaloid Oliver is modeled after the voice of a real 12 year old choir boy, made for the singing synthesis software - Vocaloid 3.
Oliver is the first ever English language vocaloid artist library for Vocaloid 3, which makes it easier to create tracks with English lyrics.
According to Bill Bryant of Power FX, "Oliver has the best pronunciation of any Vocaloid to date". And that "improvements in the synthesis software and the addition of being able to record tri-phones have improved the quality and naturalness of the vocal."
One of the main changes that Vocaloid 3 offers is that an artist pack now includes the voice bank and a "lite" version of the editor. This lite version can only do up to 17 bars of singing and allows for just one imported stereo track. The full version of Vocaloid 3 editor is sold separately and works well with various Vocaloid 2 and 3 artist libraries.
Another important change that came with Vocaloid 3 is that it is now a standalone version without VST implementation. According to PowerFX, this makes the Vocaloid 3 editor easier to work with than the previous versions. Bryant added "we are really excited to hear what users are going to create with Vocaloid 3”.
Here is a demo video showcasing Vocaloid Oliver:
