Vintage Compressors - New effects for Guitar Rig

Native Instruments have released a new range of effects for both Guitar Rig 4 and Guitar Rig Player.

Produced in collaboration with DSP experts Softube, the collection comprises modelled versions of three highly regarded high-end studio compressors - the VC 76, VC 2A and VC 160.

The VC 76 excels at drums and vocals, the VC 2A is often used on bass, guitar, and vocals and the VC 160 is a regular selection for string instruments as well as individual drum sounds.

Vintage Compressors provides the full feature set of their analog hardware counterparts, and Native Instruments say they emulate their sonic characteristics and intricacies authentically via advanced analog component modeling.

Guitar Rig also provides an additional sidechain input with adjustable high-pass filter as well as a wet/dry control for parallel compression.

Vintage Compressors is downloadable from the Native Instruments online store for $229 / 199 EUR as a bundle, with the individual models being available for $119 / 99 EUR each.
