Tape, Tubes and Transistors is a bundle of three plugins from the joint effort of Waves Audio and Eddie Kramer.

Waves Audio, a recent recipient of the 2011 Technical GRAMMY Award, has joined forces with Eddie Kramer, a legendary producer that worked with the likes of Hendrix, Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Kiss. What came out are three plug-ins that recreate Eddie Kramer’s golden audio chain and the name of the bundle is Tape, Tube and Transistors.

Waves Audio modeled the the Pye compressor, Helios console channel, and the rare vintage 1/4" reel-to-reel machine with the help of Eddie Kramer, the man that used them while recording with big name bands at the legendary London's Olympic Studios.

These are the three essential elements to get that classic vibe on your recording. Waves Audio resurrected them in software form so that rust and wear can no longer disrupt the classic sound, and they added modern features and flexibility to the vintage device for a variety of music applications.

Included in the "Tape, Tubes and Transistors" bundle are these three plugins:

HLS Channel - mixer console plugin modeled on the Helios mixing console with MSRP of $149

Kramer Master Tape - a master tape plugin modeled on a rare vintage 1/4" reel-to-reel machine. with MSRP of$149

PIE Compressor - a compressor plugin modeled on a vintage Pye compressor with MSRP of $149

The Tape, Tubes and Transistors bundle includes all the above mentioned plug-ins for an introductory price of $199 for Native and $299 for TDM.
